What do you enjoy most about working at Alpine?

To have the level of autonomy I have while still being a part of a team and actually "feeling" like a part of a team can be a challenging dynamic to achieve. I've felt empowered and trusted to perform on my own in a remote environment while still being connected and supported through training and sharing ideas.

What has surprised you most about working at Alpine?

The biggest surprise to me is the level of success someone can achieve with Alpine without having any experience in heating and air conditioning. Our recruiting efforts combined with the quality of training we have for new hires is a winning formula to ensure anyone can thrive here.

How does your current role compare to previous jobs you've had?

My role with Alpine has changed a couple of times over the years, which has been challenging (but in a good way). In previous jobs, I've felt that I could master a position quickly which would create complacency in the roles. Constantly being challenged and pushed has allowed for me to grow in my career and personally also.

What do you enjoy about the team you work with?

Even though there are different walks of life on our team, we all have a common goal. When everyone is working towards the same mission, it makes my job easier and more enjoyable. I've never felt uncomfortable reaching out to anyone for help.

What advice would you give to new recruits?

Trust the process, don't be afraid to ask questions, and remember that you were hired for a reason!
